Experience the Rockies for a Day
Treat yourself with an extraordinary day and experience the Kananaskis Country on horseback. Whether you live in Calgary or are just visiting Alberta, a trail ride through the beautiful foothills and Rocky Mountains is a very special activity for the whole family, group of friends, small company get-togethers or just simply for yourself.
All year round we offer
- Guided day trips from 1 hour to a full day on our responsive and surefooted horses
- Trail rides for beginners: we know that no one is born with the ability to ride a horse. But we are happy to show you the basics to enjoy a safe trail ride through nature.
- Trail rides for advanced riders: You already have experience with horses? We will take you on a fun ride that suits your skills.
- Riding in small groups. We emphasize personal service and safety, so we like to keep the groups between 4 and 8 riders but have the capacity to take out groups as large as 12 riders
Minimum age for children is 6 years old. To ensure a fun a safe experience we limit the number of young, inexperienced children to 2 per group.
You want to learn more about horses and riding? The "Earn your spurs" sessions are lessons for people between 8 and 80 years old who are interested in educating themselves in horsemanship and riding. Read more

Mountain Day Ride
Between May and November we offer a very special treat: Join us on a full day trail ride in Kananaskis Country. Our knowledgeable guides take you on scenic and spectacular routes through forests, alpine meadows and mountain streams. We provide a tasty lunch on the trail and interesting facts about the land, wildlife and flora around here. Enjoy a day full of great moments, fantastic scenery and fun on our surefooted horses.
Foothills Day Ride
Spend a whole day on horseback and explore the rolling foothills of Kananaskis Country around the ranch. This ride is not as challenging and long as most of our Mountain Day Rides and is well suited for fit (!) beginners. A group of advanced riders will enjoy this ride also as the terrain will give us more opportunity for faster moving (if riders skills allow) than in the rocky parts of the mountains. This ride is a real treat in the fall when the aspen trees change their colour into golden yellow.
